Client Portal Terms of Use

Updated November 8, 2026

Purpose and agreements

Rydder Development LLC provides the Client Portal to help authorized clients view and coordinate work with Rydder. Your accepted proposal, project agreement, and any separately agreed service terms determine scope, price, schedule, payment, cancellation and ownership of delivered project work. Portal access does not add services or change those agreements. If these portal-use terms and a signed project agreement conflict on project deliverables or commercial terms, the project agreement controls that subject.

Authorized accounts and content

Use your own invited account, keep credentials confidential, and notify j.palmer@rydderdevelopment.com of suspected unauthorized use. Do not share a login, try to access another client's information, bypass access controls, or upload unlawful content or malicious software. Supply only content you are authorized to share. Do not put passwords, banking credentials, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information into portal fields or uploads.

The client is responsible for identifying who may give project instructions and approvals under its agreement with Rydder. An account invitation alone does not give someone authority to change the client's contractual obligations. Changes to scope, price or schedule require the agreement or written acceptance required by the applicable project agreement. Payment alone is not design approval.

Invoices and checkout

When connected, the portal displays invoice information obtained from QuickBooks and links to Intuit-hosted checkout. This integration does not itself create, email, modify or charge invoices. Card or bank-payment information belongs in the intended checkout, not project messages or fields. Intuit's terms apply to Intuit's services.

Contact Rydder about an invoice discrepancy. A portal display error, access suspension, connection failure, account deletion or QuickBooks disconnection does not by itself cancel an invoice, reverse a payment, or change obligations under your service agreement. Recorded balances can change, and bank transfers can remain processing after being recorded. A return to the portal is not proof of completed payment.

Access, availability and support

Portal access is permission-based and may be changed or removed by Rydder or the authorized business administrator. Access is not promised indefinitely after work ends. Rydder may restrict access to investigate misuse or protect accounts and the service. Contact j.palmer@rydderdevelopment.com if access is incorrect or you need project information. Where practical, Rydder will communicate access changes affecting ongoing client work; urgent security restrictions may occur without advance notice.

Portal access, automated email and checks do not create an uptime guarantee or 24-hour human support commitment. Announced closures may affect human responses. Any separately agreed support obligations continue under the relevant agreement. Keep independent copies of important records, and request an export before relying on continued portal access. Specific handoff, retention or support deadlines apply only when separately agreed or legally required; these terms do not silently adopt proposed website-care terms.

Ownership, privacy and changes

You retain your rights in content you supply. Rydder and its licensors retain their rights in portal software and branding. Ownership or licensing of the website or other deliverables purchased from Rydder is determined by the relevant project agreement, not transferred or withheld merely by portal use.

The company Privacy Policy and portal notice explain information handling. Changes to portal-use terms will be posted with an updated date; material changes will be communicated where appropriate. These terms do not impose new build-cancellation fees, accelerate balances, or replace a client's agreed commercial terms.
